Akiko Yoshizawa (明子吉澤 Yoshizawa Akiko?), also nicknamed as Homura, is a character in the Hibike! Euphonium series. She is a first-year student at Kitauji High School who is in the concert band and plays the trumpet. Yoshizawa is a young teenage girl with a short and petite build, who is also the shortest of the minor characters. She has straight and short dark green hair which she wears in a bobbed hairstyle. She has a piece of her hair tied into a short, upward ponytail tied with an orange scrunchie on the right side on her head. She has light green eyes, and quite thick eyebrows. She is usually seen with a normal Kitauji High School uniform for first year-students.
