Aku is a 13 year old girl with short blonde hair and heterochromia eyes, one red and one green. She is the first friend Kunai makes once inside the game and despite her androgynous appearance is a female. An orphan, Aku lost her parents to disease at a young age. Her status as an orphan, along with her unusual eyes, leads the other people in her village to bully and abuse her, forcing her to carry out the villages worst jobs. When the demon Greol appeared and demanded human sacrifices Aku was cast out by the village to be killed until she was saved by Kunai and became his partner.
