Aliceliese Lou Nebulis IX, also known as Alice for short, is the main heroine and deuteragonist of the series. She is the second princess of the Nebulis Sovereignty who is known as the "Ice Calamity Witch" by the Empire. Aliceliese is a beautiful young lady with long blonde hair, nice ruby eyes, and she is very developed for her age as she has a slender, voluptuous body. She wears a sleeveless primarily white and secondarily red dress, a blue ribbon around her left arm, and red high heel shoes. Aliceliese is a calm and kind-hearted person. While she comes off as a cold fighter when she's on the battlefield, Aliceliese isn't much different from a normal girl her age. She is a fan of art and enjoys going to the opera (having cried during one play). She can also be talkative at times. Being a teenage girl, Alice does have some interest in the opposite sex. Since there weren't many boys her age around her, she expresses most of this interest in Iska whenever they're not on the battlefield. Alice even treats their rivalry as something similar to a relationship, as shown when Rin compared the way Alice was planning for their final battle, like preparing for a wedding. This is further supported when Alice became jealous of Sisbell Lou Nebulis IX after she attempted to take Iska for herself. Alice has a sense of honor. She felt terrible for not returning Iska's handkerchief to him after using it to wipe her tear during a play. Alice was especially against all the underhanded actions Rin Vispose took against Iska, preferring to defeat Iska honorably on the battlefield. To make up for Rin's act, she secretly gave Iska the key to his handcuffs when she and Rin left him alone. Alice is also very wise and observant. She was reprimanding Rin for drugging Iska while in a neutral city since it would've violated the rules of neutrality and caused the city to join a side in the war and further escalate the conflict.
