Aya is introduced as a classmate and love interest of Ichiro Sato whom he had planned to pair up with during the school field trip in order to confess his love for her. While bathing in the hot springs with her friends, the girls heard what sounded like a woman's scream come from the other bath. Upon checking the other side Aya discovered Sato with a naked and unconscious girl. Not recognizing the girl as Miss Kojima, she immediately questioned Sato what he was doing to her. He answered that it was not a real person but rather a sex doll in hopes to avoid any damaging rumors. Aya then promptly left the scene without a word. It is likely Aya rejected Sato due to the incident in the bath as he spent the next day alone.
