Ayanami

Ayanami is the 11th of Fubuki-class destroyers and the first of Special Type II. The sword she wields in her right hand is a possible reference to the melee in which she was succumbed to at the Second Naval Battle of Guadalcanal. Ayanami, with the assistance of two other destroyers, would be responsible for the sinking of two destroyers, mortally wounding another, and severely damaging a fourth. She would then become the target for Washington, who would cripple her, leading to her eventual scuttling.
