Brunhilde

ブリュンヒルデ

Brunhilde (ブリュンヒルデ) is the eldest of the 13 Valkyrie Sisters. She stood up against the Gods in an attempt to save the humans. She is the main protagonist of the series as she chooses humanity's finest and strongest warriors to stand up against the gods and slay them. If anything is to be said of Brunhilde it is that she is: manipulative, vindictive and vulgar, all tempered together with an indomitable will and a keen intelligence. She requested Hercules for a modified arena for humanity's fighter under the excuse of giving Jack a "semblance of a chance". Showing she would use any means necessary to win, even if it means choosing a wicked human like Jack to fight in Ragnarök. She has shown to be forceful to the point of costing her own allies shown when she forced her younger sister, Hlökk, to partner with Jack the Ripper to participate in the fourth round. At all times, Brunhilde often displays a cold demeanor about her, as shown with her aforementioned choice of intentionally tricking Heracles into fighting against an opponent in a battlefield which he was simply not meant to win in. However, she greatly cares for her fellow Valkyrie sisters to the point where she became enraged at Göll for accusing her of the contrary. She also respects those like her such as Heracles, despite him fighting as a representative for the Gods. However, her main drive is to protect humanity from destruction. Her care for heroes such as Heracles and the representatives of humanity expressed only in private with a personal shrine dedicated to all those who have fallen in Ragnarök, weeping greatly as she enshrined Heracles when previously she wept not in the presence of Göll.
