Chika Itou

Chika Itou (伊藤 千佳) is the "straight man" of the series, meant to play an average, stereotypical role. Her realism, lack of humor and constant business with homework makes her seem rather uninteresting. She is the younger sister of Itou Nobue, who describes her by saying that her distinguishing trait is a complete lack of distinguishing traits. She is 12 years old and in the sixth grade; in the same class as her best friend, Matsuoka Miu. Miu describes her as "uptight" for various reasons such as her not wanting to play and not letting Miu copy her homework and "cheapskate" since she doesn't buy her treats on the way home.
