Chizuru Sasaki

Sasaki is a quiet and sweet girl who is often unsure of her own abilities and tends to take the blame for her team's losses. She messed up many receives during her team's game against Shirato Girls' Academy Volleyball Club, and started to cry a little before she was encouraged by Michimiya. After the match, she cried, Chizuru being encouraged by Yui during the match. saying that it was her fault they lost the match and that the other team aimed their serves at her because of how bad she was. This shows that Chizuru is not very confident in her volleyball skills and gets discouraged easily. She also accompanies Yui and Mao when they go places, because she is kind and friendly and enjoys supporting her friends and the boys' team. It appears that Tanaka and Nishinoya even know her, since they called out to her after one of their games and called her "Aya-senpai". This suggests that she is friendly to others at her school, as well.
