Chun Ah Young

Chun Ah Young is a member of Cult of Heavenly Demon and the daughter of its leader, Chun Hwi. At a young age she is sent to Cave of Latent Demons in order to draw out her true potential, so she would be able to rise to the position of the vice-leader in the future. During her training she meets with Hyuk Woon Sung and becomes intrigued by his rapid growth despite being ranked 900. He, however, constantly rejects her, finding her friendliness rather annoying. Due to her bloodline she is able to cultivate cult's secret technique - Divine Arts of The Heavenly Demon. This grants her power that exceeds that of her peers. The usage of the technique requires her to expend large amount of Qi which her body is not developed enough to handle, which makes her unable to use it to full potential. After graduating from the Cave, she is assigned as a leader of the Second Latent Demon Squad and ventures on her first group mission. Due to unforeseen complications the mission results in critical failure and her squads ends up being saved by the squad under Hyuk Woon Sung command. This makes Chun A-Young realise her shortcomings and the fact that the gap between her and Woon Sung grows bigger with each day.
