Colt comes from the alleyway of the Telus (Dark Knights) world. She worked in the black market and was hired as assassin. She was found out doing illegal trading, during a war against demons, by a soldier and faced the death penalty. However the commander of the army (believed to be Pallanus) saved her life and put her to join her in war. She became a military executive at a young age although she's neglectful of her work and sometimes skips it. She was able to defeat many demons in Telus. In her awakened bio she says "I tried to abandon you when you were drowning in despair, but I couldn't. You saved my last time, so it must be my turn to save you...right?" which is referring to Pallanus since Pallanus was also a commander of an army and devastated when Telus was collapsing. It seems Colt joined the Dark Knights to repay back Pallanus for saving her life.
