Constance von Nuvelle is a playable character in Fire Emblem: Three Houses, made available via downloadable content. Constance plays a prominent role in the DLC side story, Cindered Shadows. Constance von Nuvelle is the sole survivor of House Nuvelle, a noble house of the Adrestian Empire. that fell during the Dagda and Brigid War. When she was growing up, she would commonly visit House Bartels, and became friends with Emile and Mercedes during her visits. She also became familiar with other noble children, especially the heir to House Aegir, Ferdinand. Constance attended the Fhirdiad School of Sorcery. She graduated from that school three years before the events of the game, the year before Annette and Mercedes enrolled, Imperial Year 1177. Since then, she has taken refuge in Abyss as a member of the Ashen Wolves, plotting her chance to revive her fallen house.
