In 1944, Illustrious sailed to the Indian Ocean. There she paired up with Saratoga for joint operations against the Japanese occupying the Dutch East Indies. Both her default skin and her Morning Star of Love and Hope skin feature Fairey Swordfish bi-plane torpedo bombers and Fairey Fulmar fighters. These and the Blackburn Skua dive bombers were the first planes she was equipped with.
