King Cold

King Cold is a character from the Dragon Ball franchise. He is the father of Lord Frieza and Cooler. When Frieza was a child and both Beerus and Majin Buu were asleep, King Cold was the Emperor of all Universe 7. His Cold Force ruled over the stars and in most cases he was actually pretty fair to his subjects. He wasn't beyond diplomacy and conducted peaceful trade with various races including the Saiyans, to which he saw King Vegeta as a valuable business partner. When Frieza came of age and was put in charge of his military operations however, this would change. All would see that the Emperor's son was far more sadistic than he, and was not interested in fame or money, but power and immortality.
