Mayu Sakuma

Mayu is a former photography model who quit her career upon seeing the Producer at first sight. She strives to become his finest idol, so they can always be together forever. Mayu believes that the red string that ties her and the Producer together. Others have noted that she's incredibly friendly and helpful whenever the Producer is not around. But as soon as he enters the room, she becomes an entirely different person. It's implied she was an ordinary girl until she first met the Producer. Her S Rare card illustration shows that she broke into the Producer's car and hid in the backseat. She keeps track of the Producer using GPS and secretly takes daily photos of him. Her S Rare+ card illustration shows her surrounded by photos of the Producer, bottles of hospital medication, heart-shaped pillows, a pair of scissors thrust into one pillow, and the telltale expression of obsession. Her favorite possessions are photos of her and the Producer doing things together. She regularly breaks into the Producer's home in the middle of the night to watch him sleep. The majority of idols write off Mayu's personality as weird behavior, but the more savvy characters, such as Sae Kobayakawa, are aware she's slipped into dangerous territory. The drama CD presents the Producer as entirely aware Mayu is yandere, and quietly taken upon himself to correct her behavior. Trying to make Mayu not talk about the Producer makes her extremely angry, which causes her to question why the Producer isn't reciprocating her feelings, triggering a dark chanting that the Producer needs to reciprocate her feelings. She doesn't like how the Producer is popular with the other idols, constantly questioning if producing them is more fun. In fact, she even got upset when Rika Jougasaki joked in a childlike way that she was going on a date with the Producer. She likes the Producer to know she's always watching. Mayu begins slipping into her yandere mode whenever the Producer hesitates to respond that he romantically loves her. He usually responds by praising a particular aspect of her personality or positive trait she has, but has avoided from actually saying, "I love you." When it comes to the Producer, she tends to give him no personal space and doesn't mind letting him see her in nothing but a bath towel. All she ever talks about on her Drama CD are the reasons why she loves him. One of Mayu's in-game comments has her noticing the Producer with a new necktie, suddenly volunteering to fix it, and then questioning if it was a gift from another woman. The implication is she could easily strangle him if that's the case.
