O-haru

O-haru is a young, beautiful woman who is a friend of Hanbē and a secret admirer of Masakichi. O-haru is a young and attractive woman with dark hair tied back in a ponytail. She wears a traditional kimono that comes down to her upper thighs which is tied across her waist by a string. O-haru's personality has yet to be deeply explored, but she is first seen breaking up a fight between two young boys, hinting at the idea that she dislikes certain levels of violence. It is also very apparent to Hanbē that O-haru bears attraction to tall men, an attraction that Hanbē believed would be enough for her to accept his marriage proposal. However, O-haru tells him that she already likes Masakichi, a man she claims is even taller than Hanbē.
