Princess Suzuhime

Suzu, also known as Princess Suzu (鈴姫, Suzuhime), is the main heroine of Samurai Shodown Sen. She was voted as one of the best arcade characters in Arcadia's Arcade Game of the Year 2008 Awards. She is voiced by Kae Araki. She is the princess of a foreign country, orphaned when her parents' ship was raided ten years ago. She washed ashore the beaches of Japan and was adopted by a daimyo who resides in Amori. Suzu is a strong-willed girl who is attracted to adventure. Since she has spent most of her life being pampered, she treasures her new found independence in the world. Suzu is a relatively balanced character who mainly uses her sword to fight. She swings her weapon in wide arcs and uses her body's momentum to spin it around. She is powerful enough to carry and slam people who get stuck on the tip of her blade. However, the weight of her weapon drags her speed down as players will usually need to wait for her to pick it up before commencing their attack. To compensate for her weapon's drawback, Suzuhime can also use her flute or her kicks to smack people at a close range.
