Shinazugawa Sanemi

不死川 実弥

A Demon Slayer and the Wind Pillar of the Demon Slaying Corps. He is also the older brother of Genya Shinazugawa. Sanemi is abrasive, hot-blooded, and stubborn, oftentimes impulsive and quick to lash out. The only person he displays reverence towards is Kagaya Ubuyashiki. This cold, rude, dismissive behavior even apply to his own little brother Genya because Sanemi wanted to save him from becoming a Demon Slayer, knowing it would lead to an early death, and wished for him to have a happy life instead to honor their deceased family. He holds peerless resentment towards demons, hates them with a furious passion due to all the important people in his life they have killed, including slayer colleagues. In battle, Sanemi is very powerful, both in term of sword-skill as well as unarmed martial arts. According to Kokushibo - Upper Moon One, Sanemi's physical abilities and techniques have reached their peak.
