In January 1942, Tsurugizaki was reconstructed successfully and she named Shoho. After reconstruction she participated in the Battle of Coral Sea covering the landing force. Unluckily, she sank after attacked by the carrier planes from USS Yorktown(CV 5) in the morning of May 7th.Shoho was also the first carriers of J-country which was sank in World War II.
