Skyla is a pilot who is the Gym Leader of Mistralton City's Gym, known officially as the Mistralton Gym. She specializes in Flying-type Pokémon. She gives the Jet Badge to Trainers who defeat her. Skyla is a very bright, youthful gal with a cheery personality. She is a thrill-seeker, shown by her tendency to take her thrills high into the skies, symbolizing her passion for Flying-type Pokémon. A bit of a sadist, shown by her extremely hazardous gym setups against challenging trainers, but despite this recklessness, she is shown to be very caring, going out her way to rescue injured Pokémon, and battling for the fate of the Unova region.
