Takeshita also called The Man (男), is one of the main character of the planned anime series Despera. He is assisting Ain by selling, to the Japanese military and aristocracy, the services of her inventions to fund Ain's works. Takeshita is a Japense man in his 30s who is an associate of Ain's. He claims to be able to see the future through the displays on Ain's computer monitors and sells these information, known as prophecies, to the Japanese military and the aristocracy to fund for Ain's inventions. He is sometimes referred to as "The Man".
