Tamahome

琮 鬼宿

Tamahome (鬼宿), real name Kishuku Sou (琮 鬼宿), is the first Suzaku warrior Miaka meets and has the character "Ogre" on his forehead. He is one of the most important characters in Fushigi Yuugi. At first he seems selfish and greedy on the outside, but Tama's financial efforts actually lead to a good cause. His good heart and vow of protection to Miaka causes her feelings for him to bloom into a loyal and undying love. He is a handsome young man with long teal hair in a full fringe which is tied in a low ponytail adorned with red laces. He wears a variety of Chinese clothing comprise of either changshans or Chinese tunics. In his initial appearance, he wore a dark blue long sleeved changshan with yellow and light blue collar and is tied in a red belt, maroon pants and black Chinese flats.
