Su Ya is Yang Ming’s first love from junior high. She is a famous celebrity who auctioned her iron ring. She is Yang Ming's childhood sweetheart. The two were in a relationship in middle school, when Zhou Jiajia reported them to the teacher, who in turn contact their parents and forced them to split up. Her father forced her to move away, and did not allow her to call Yang Ming on the phone. Although she wrote him letters, they were always intercepted by the teacher and never made it to Yang Ming. Not long after, her father got into trouble with the underworld, and they came after Su Ya, waiting for her at her school. She ran away into an alley, where she was saved by an old man she calls Grandpa Sun. Because she gave him water in the past while he was working, he gave her special sun glasses with a face changing ability, that allow her to walk past the thugs without being recognized. Su Ya's father than moved the family to Hong Kong, where he made new underworld connections to protect his family. She later became an Idol, using the name Shu Ya, so that when she retires she can hide from her fans and live a normal family life. Although her face has changed to the point that Yang Ming cannot recognize her, and he thinks she's a different person, she has never forgotten or stopped loving Yang Ming
