The leader of the Shinde Sekai Sensen (SSS) or in English the Afterlife Battlefront. Yurippe is a strong and charismatic leader and through sheer force of personality, she commands the respect of an entire group of disheartened outcasts. However, despite her outward appearance as a violent, eccentric and ruthless leader. She is still in her heart a normal, 17 year-old Japanese high-schooler. rarely letting her 'hair down', only doing so when the fight with Tenshi/Kanade is over and her reincarnation is nigh. Yurippe has a troubled past, with her siblings being murdered at the hands of cold-blooded killers out to rob houses. Because of this it's alluded that she committed suicide, as a result she forms a close, tight-knit bond with Kanade and Yuzuru as she sees them as proxies for her siblings. Yurippe has had hints of romance with Yuzuru, Hinata and Noda.
